Writers Who Roar
When your words carry the strength of a lion’s roar, they do more than inform. Hearts are stirred. People who were distant begin to turn, drawn by something deeper than mere sentences. They will come from far places—like birds in flight, like flocks finding their way home—responding to the truth woven into your stories. And through those words, God gently leads them to live with him.
Oh writers with pens and many pages to fill,
Who wonder if stories are God’s perfect will,
Take heart in this truth that is steady and sure—
His love longs for all, and his mercy is pure.
For God doesn’t want a single person to fall.
He’s calling through books and stories and all.
Each line you write, each thought you send,
May turn a lost heart back to him in the end.
So write with a purpose. Let truth light the way.
Let grace fill your stories in all that you say.
For seeds that are planted in ink, line-by-line,
Can stir other to faith by a hand most divine.
Even greater than the joy of a story well-told,
Is kindling new writers, courageous and bold.
You equip their hearts, igniting their flame,
So they will also write in Jesus’ great name.
When any door swings open, step into the call,
Share God’s goodness and give freely to all.
For one book may whisper, and more will roar,
As voices for Christ rise up more and more.
